X-ray imaging uses a small amount of radiation to capture clear images of the inside of

the body. These images help healthcare providers identify and assess a wide range of

medical conditions in a safe and effective way.

At Healthwise Diagnostics, all imaging is managed through a secure digital system,

allowing referring healthcare providers to access patient studies quickly through our

online portal. Our team of medical and technical professionals is carefully chosen for

their expertise and commitment to continued learning, ensuring high-quality care for

every patient. We prioritize timely reporting in a professional environment that respects

patient privacy and comfort.

We accept referrals from family physicians, specialists, urgent care providers, sports

medicine doctors, and chiropractors (consultation reports may be required). Our clinic

also offers X-ray services for immigration medical exams and other regulatory or

documentation purposes.

Appointment Details

Healthwise Diagnostic offers walk-in X-ray services, alongside appointments.

For safety reasons, women who are pregnant or may be pregnant should avoid X-ray

exams, particularly during the final two weeks of their menstrual cycle. If there is any

possibility you are pregnant, please let the technologist know before your exam.

No special preparation is needed for an X-ray.

Please remember to bring:

• Your Requisition Form

• Your valid Ontario Health Card

If you do not have a valid Ontario Health Card, payment by cash or cheque is required

at the time of your visit.
